The Acacia Estate development in Maputo, Mozambique comprises of a 76-unit luxury modern housing complex tenanted on long term commercial leases by the United States Government and the French based oil and gas company, Total, who acquired the interests of Anadarko in September 2019 in Mozambique. The estate has been purpose built to the tenants’ unique requirements.

In October 2020, GREA, strategically increased its exposure to assets with embassy and multinational tenant profiles, by acquiring a 19.9% interest in Acacia from external third parties and 26.65% from Grit Real Estate Income Group Limited. On conclusion of the transaction, GREA’s ownership in the property increased to 46.6%.
