AnfaPlace Mall has been trading since 2013 and was refurbished by GREA in 2019. The scope of work entailed a holistic approach to the upgrading of the shopping centre within a live trading environment, including but not limited to the reconfiguration of lettable space to improve trading and profitability, improved customer experience as well as to enhance the visibility of key tenants.
Overall a total of 178 000 hours of construction work were completed over a period of 8 months within a trading environment. On average 120 workers were deployed each evening to minimise the impact on shoppers.
The shopping center is situated in the prestigious area of Anfa in Casablanca and is anchored by Carrefour, International Retail Morocco (Terranova, New Yorker, Monsoon, US Polo, La vie en Rose, Charles & Keith, Clarck’s, Coffee Place, Pedro), Alpha 55 and Marks & Spencer. The mall offers a number of international brands spanning across three levels and street level trading.
