GREA was approached by Africa Data Centres (“ADC”) to develop the first phase of a Tier III, fivemegawatt data centre in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, Nigeria.
This 1.1MW facility accommodates two Modular Data Halls (MDH) as well as offices to operate this facility. The building comprises of a lower ground level area with a drop-off zone, parking area, offices, meeting rooms, ablutions, and stores in addition to a reception and security area. The modular units (MU) are situated on the ground floor and first floor levels. The roof level comprises of an area suitable for the placement of generators and air-conditioning condenser units servicing the requirements of both the Modular Data Halls as well as the Modular Units.
The external areas comprise two levels: a ground floor circulation and loading area and a ramped area servicing the lower ground amenities.
The future expansion will allow for a total IT capacity of 5MW.
