In an interview with Bronwyn Nielsen from Nielsen Network, our CEO Greg Pearson highlighted some key trends that are expected to emerge across Africa’s real estate sector due to the impact of COVID-19. Given the fact that we are a multi-jurisdictional business that operates in Kenya, Uganda and Mauritius to name a few, he also explained how COVID-19 impacted our project delivery during this time. While many people reacted to the pandemic through fear, we took it as an opportunity to restrategise, where our development managers were tasked at creating new strategies for each individual project.

During this unprecedented time, we also rebranded from Gateway Delta Development Holdings to Gateway Real Estate Africa. In his interview with Bronwyn Nielsen, Greg explained the rationale behind this rebrand and why it was the prefect time to announce this positive news.
