In response to COVID-19 and in an effort to #FlattenTheCurve, Gateway Real Estate Africa was approached by the office of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to assist with deploying 48 000 Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) across the country.

We subsequently contributed US$10 000 towards the purchase of hardware tablets to be used by the Rapid Response Teams, who will respond to cases of actual or suspected community infection. In addition to medical activity (testing, and hospitalizing or isolating), they will also ensure that case data (for tracing and case management) is recorded accurately and in a timely way.

We are proud to have been part of this project and we sincerely hope that our donation will enhance the overall surveillance and management of the pandemic.
